NFO® B-Complex is the optimal combination of B vitamins in a convenient form that the body requires on a daily basis to activate metabolism, vigour, energy, high performance, and stress resistance.
B vitamins are the most abundant water-soluble vitamins and are essential for cellular metabolism. With the exception of B12, most do not accumulate in the body and must be taken on a daily basis.
Thiamine (vitamin B1) is required for fat conversion in the body, is involved in the transfer of genetic information to new cells, has a positive effect on the brain and central nervous system, and increases the body's resistance to infections and other adverse environmental factors.
Riboflavin (vitamin B2) is involved in many metabolic processes, including haemoglobin synthesis. It is especially important for the organs of vision, the epidermis, and the mucous membranes.
Niacin (vitamin B3 or PP) is required for energy conversion from food, protein and fat synthesis, and the production of sex hormones, insulin, and cortisol. It brings blood pressure and the nervous system back to normal.
Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) is required for the production of antibodies, the repair of damaged tissues, and the healing of various wounds. Its absence makes the body more vulnerable to colds.
Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is required for carbohydrate metabolism as well as the production of haemoglobin and polyunsaturated acids. It regulates nervous system activity, stimulates the immune system, and aids in antibody formation, and red blood cell regeneration.
Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) is required for the production of red blood cells, as well as for growth and proper nervous system function. It promotes blood clotting, lowers cholesterol, and boosts the immune system.
Folic acid (vitamin B9) is involved in many basic bodily processes, including the regulation of new cell development and the synthesis of nucleic acids such as DNA and RNA (is directly involved in the synthesis of purine, cytosine, uracil and thymine - "building blocks" of which, in different combinations, make up the entire DNA molecule). It is also required for the development of the circulatory and immune systems.
The complex should be taken on a daily basis to help normalize the nervous system, boost immunity, and provide a burst of strength, energy, vigour, and performance.
The complex is highly bioavailable.
